I have had the opportunity to work at Edison Middle School for over 15years and have enjoyed every moment. I have taught 8th grade United States History but am currently enjoying teaching 7th grade World History. I am passionate about teaching World History since it teaches students about various cultures and their history.
I was born and raised in South San Francisco. I attended All Souls Catholic School and South San Francisco High School. After high school, I went to San Francisco State University and earned my Bachelor's of Arts in Raza Studies. I attended the University of California, Los Angeles and earned my Teaching Credential and Master's in Education.
When I am not teaching, I love to hike with my husband and dogs.
